Every trip is a learning experience, and our students’ visit to Singapore was no exception. From experiencing various cultures to finding their way through the crowded city streets, each aspect of the trip became a moment of learning, development, and good times.
Over Singapore Days, students got a first-hand experience of the city’s fusion of tradition and modernity. Sightseeing to cultural monuments, museums, and innovation centers exposed them to fresh insights into history, science, and art. Beyond sightseeing, students also participated in collaborative activities, where teaming up, problem-solving, and curiosity guided them.
Strolling along Singapore’s diverse neighbourhoods, sampling local cuisine, and engaging with various communities enabled students to enjoy diversity and learn about the significance of cultural exchange. Such moments of discovery made them more independent, flexible, and globally oriented.
Teachers made sure each experience was linked back to genuine learning outcomes. Parents reported how delighted they were to observe their kids improving in confidence, responsibility, and outlook, demonstrating once again that genuine education goes well beyond the pages of a textbook.
At TWSI, Kerala’s first IB continuum school offering IB, EDEXCEL and CBSE syllabi, the journey was more than a trip; it was a chance for students to cement connections with classmates, honour new friendships, and bring home lessons that would endure a lifetime. Singapore Days reminded everyone that the world itself is the best classroom. Check our News & Events section for more updates.
